Nick is Senior Advisor to Greenwood Sustainable Infrastructure. He is a passionate advocate for sustainability and ESG, having focused on corporate and project finance and raised over $3 Billion of capital for solar, wind, and other investment opportunities in renewables.

Prior to Greenwood, Mr. Sangermano served as Managing Director at Rubicon Advisors, one of the world’s leading investment banks focused on energy and infrastructure. Previously, Nick served as a Managing Director and Head of Corporate & Private Placements at CohnReznick Capital based in New York, where he led several landmark transactions in renewables across North America. Prior to CohnReznick, Nick was a Managing Director at Ambata Capital Partners, a prominent family office, where he led an international sustainability and ESG practice. Previously, Nick was Chief Operating Officer at Hudson Clean Energy Partners, a private equity firm, where he helped establish and manage their inaugural $1 billion fund. He joined Hudson from Credit Suisse, where he was a Director in the Investment Bank.

Nick is a member of the Bloomberg New Energy Pioneer Award selection committee, a member of the Waterkeeper Alliance Leadership Circle, an advisor to the American Council on Renewable Energy, a member of the Colorado School of Mines’ Payne Institute advisory board, and a board member emeritus of Hudson Riverkeeper.

Nick served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as an officer and pilot. He received an MBA from McGill University and an honors BA in environmental studies from the University of Western Ontario.
