Joe Sacks is the Chief Financial Officer at Greenwood Sustainable Infrastructure (GSI) where he oversees the team’s financial investing activities. Joe rejoined the Libra Group ecosystem in November 2020, after a brief period at People’s United Bank, Siemens Financial Services, and another single-family office. 10 years prior, Joe became one of the founding members of Libra’s Greenwood Energy team. Aside from his time at Greenwood, Joe has served in a number of principal investing roles, including direct equity investments as well as bank and non-bank lending within the middle market and project finance spaces. Prior to joining Libra/Greenwood in late 2010, Joe began his career in BNP Paribas’ High Yield Group before his first exposure to asset, energy, and infrastructure finance at Hypo Real Estate Group.
